Howdy, This book I will talk about today is a masterpiece by Khushwant Singh. It has affected me in ways which I couldn't comprehend back when I read it, but now I'm slightly understanding how and why I behaved towards certain things in my life. It was all because of those magnanimously relatable events and situations I went through. The characters somehow came to life as I turned the pages of the wizard's book, leaving me nothing but bewitched. Khushwant Singh became my favourite writer along the journey of discovering old city of Delhi with him. Even if you are not interested in history of subcontinent or Mughals, this book will mesmerise you into urging to know more about them. His love for the city itself teaches you compassion and selfless love, where even if your hands are empty at the end but your soul is sufficed.
